Jessica Parks, a judge at the London Crown Court, has made it. She has reached the pinnacle of her career. She judges with sharp intellect and empathy, fights for justice, and challenges a legal system that all too often fails women who have experienced violence. Her daily life is a constant balancing act between her roles as judge, mother, wife, and friend.

Together with her husband Michael, himself a lawyer, she tries to raise their 18-year-old son Harry to be a respectful, responsible man. But then Harry comes home after a night out partying to find allegations of sexual harassment against him. Suddenly, everything is at stake for Jessica: her life, her family, and her career. Jessica's moral and professional convictions are put to the ultimate test. A woman accustomed to judging now no longer knows where she stands.

Against the backdrop of societal expectations, gender roles, and power dynamics, the story unfolds of a family whose very foundations are shaken. It reveals how deeply these structures permeate our most intimate relationships and whose voice is heard, whose future is protected. The play addresses modern motherhood, parenting in the digital age, and the ethical dilemma faced by parents when their child is accused of a crime.

With her drama "Prima Facie," author Suzie Miller achieved international success. The London premiere of "Inter alia" was also celebrated by both the press and the public. Now, "Inter alia," directed by Daniela Löffner, comes to the stage of the Theater in der Josefstadt for its Austrian premiere.
