Shelly Kupferberg liest: Isidor

Kupferberg's literary debut, ISIDOR, was a bestseller, has been translated into several languages, and will premiere at the Akademietheater on February 28. The author and journalist will read from her literary exploration on this very stage beforehand: the story of a self-made man who rose from the poorest, Orthodox background in Eastern Galicia to Vienna, where he became a successful lawyer, commercial councilor, and advisor to the Austrian state. A bon vivant, an opera and art lover, who struggled to reconcile his Jewish identity.
