A theater director receives a commission from the Burgtheater to stage a play by and with Roma actors. He promptly decides to use the real-life biographies of the actors for his play and has a house from their village dismantled into 3,000 individual parts to be rebuilt on the stage of the Akademietheater. Audiences and the press eagerly await this extraordinary production, hoping for maximum authenticity.

In his bitter satire 3000 Individual Parts, Hungarian film and theater director Ádám Császi poses the uncomfortable question of how minorities can be made visible on stage in a self-determined way and why good intentions so often lead to the wrong results.
