Isidor Akademietheater - Wien Sat 28.Feb 2026 19:30 replace me !Commercial Councillor Isidor Geller is highly respected in Viennese society; but after the Nazis seized power in 1938, he loses everything. Years later, his great-grandniece, journalist Shelly Kupferberg, discovers Isidor in her grandfather's letters and researches his story. In ISIDOR – A JEWISH LIFE, she recounts his rise and fall, from his childhood in Lviv to his arrest and death, and takes a detailed look at early 20th-century Vienna and the destruction of democracy.
Following his BURG debut with the production of LILIOM, Philipp Stölzl premieres Kupferberg's successful novel in a dramatization by Caroline Bruckner.
