Then came a long dry spell until the musical "Wien hat den Blues" (Vienna Has the Blues) was shown at the Wiener Metropol. Andy sang in both German and Viennese dialect. This was followed by guest appearances on Radio Wien's "Sprechen Sie Wienerisch" (Speak Viennese) and at Horst Chmela's gala. At the grand Viennese Song Gala in the City Hall last year, Andy was finally honored for his contributions to the Viennese song tradition. This provided the final impetus to dedicate himself more fully to this genre once again.
