Freedom Ballet Stadthalle Halle F - Wien Sun 18.Oct 2026 19:00 replace me !Do you like to spy?
What if you were invited to look through the keyhole of a mysterious wardrobe that holds secrets and personal stories?
And what if, while watching others, you suddenly saw yourself?
What would you feel if, as you followed the unfolding scenes, you discovered your own secrets, fears, revelations, memories, and unfulfilled dreams?
Understand at once — the wardrobe is not what it seems…
“The Wardrobe” is far more than just a dance show.
It is a complete stage experience with a captivating beginning and a powerful finale, where each scene guides the audience along the emotional ladder of life. Through the language of refined physical expression, the dancers reflect on the nature of time and space, and on the blurred boundaries between love and passion.
The audience is left with only one task: to feel.
The permanent director of the legendary Ukrainian ballet Freedom Ballet and stage director of the production, Lena Kolyadenko, transforms the exploration of such a simple object as a wardrobe into an existential journey through the labyrinths of the human soul. The greatest gift “The Wardrobe” can offer is to open its bottomless mirror—into which the viewer glances almost accidentally… and sees themselves. Perhaps this is the only way to change a person — and, in doing so, change the world.
The performance is intended for an adult audience (16+) and for those with life experience. It was created to work with pure human emotions:
joy, sadness, fear, dreams, disappointment, admiration…
Duration: 1 hour 40 minutes, including intermission.(Source: stadthalle.com)
