Monika Gruber is back! After two years away from the stage, Bavaria’s most successful cabaret performer will celebrate her long-awaited comeback in 2026. As a “trans-harmony addict trapped in the body of a troublemaker,” she simply couldn’t stay silent any longer… because, after all: “Es huift ja nix!” (“There’s no helping it!”).

All the more reason to take joy in the small, everyday absurdities of life. As a master storyteller, Gruber explains what an intrusive seagull has to do with Charlene, Princess of Monaco, and why a lively Thai three-person massage might land you at the public order office. She also reveals why the occasional Prosecco shower is far more sensible than early-morning ice bathing—and why children who are meant to become something in life should, under no circumstances, receive cash for their First Communion, but rather coffee sets and beaver-flannel bedding.

The program is a humorous plea for more joy in life and for the wonderfully hedonistic side of being unreasonable.
