    Special Guest: Marc Breitfelder (Harmonica)

Experience Morricone’s legendary film hits live with star harmonica player Marc Breitfelder, the Milano Festival Opera ensemble, and on-screen animations featuring film scenes.

World-renowned Oscar winner Ennio Morricone is considered one of the most prolific composers in the history of film music; he has written over 500 scores for film and television, creating legendary pieces along the way. He received his last Oscar in February 2016 for Tarantino’s “The Hateful 8.” Morricone achieved immortality nearly 50 years ago with his music for “Once Upon a Time in the West” and his compositions for the Spaghetti Western classic “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly,” Roland Joffé’s drama “The Mission,” and Giuseppe Tornatore’s film “Cinema Paradiso.”

His fans can experience Morricone’s unforgettable works with special guest Marc Breitfelder in select cities. Breitfelder is considered one of the world’s best harmonica players. Joining him is the large ensemble of soloists, orchestra, and choir from the Milano Festival Opera to bring Morricone’s rousing music to life.

    Screen animation with film scenes
The technically sophisticated screen animation featuring original film scenes intensifies the gripping atmosphere and creates the famous “Goose House” effect, which no one can resist.

Ennio Morricone’s most important works include the soundtracks to “The Hateful Eight,” “Once Upon a Time in the West,” “Kill Bill Vol. 2,” “My Name Is Nobody,” “The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly,” “Once Upon a Time in America,” “A Fistful of Dollars,” and “The Untouchables.”
