    FÜNFZIG JAHRE – DIE ZIELGERADE
    DIE TOURNEE 2026

To mark this special occasion, BAP will embark on an arena tour across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. A milestone like this deserves to be celebrated.

When you talk about BAP, you’re talking about German rock history. With their songs in Kölsch dialect, they achieved something only few bands have managed on such a scale: they turned local cultural heritage into something of universal significance, celebrating extraordinary success far beyond their hometown of Cologne and even outside Germany. 2026 will be a very special year for BAP and their huge fan community: the band, founded in 1976, celebrates its 50th anniversary, while founder Wolfgang Niedecken turns 75.

With early hits like “Verdamp lang her,” “Kristallnaach,” “Müslimän,” “Waschsalon,” and “Do kanns Zaubere,” BAP made music history back in the 1980s, winning the hearts of their fans forever. With passion, integrity, and a distinctive sound, they established themselves as an authentic rock institution within the German music scene. Thirteen number-one albums, gold and platinum awards, numerous prestigious music prizes, and above all, their legendary live performances have marked five decades of success.

Following their sold-out ZEITREISE Tour in 2024/25, rock legend Wolfgang Niedecken and his band will once again take to the stage next year to embark on a musical journey through time — celebrating an incredible 50 years of music, complete with their greatest hits. Since their founding in the mid-1970s, BAP have left an indelible mark on the German rock and pop landscape. Their songs became anthems for an entire generation and remain as relevant today as ever. Even now, Niedecken doesn’t shy away from tackling difficult or political subjects in his profound, poetic, and emotionally resonant lyrics. His stories are authentic and close to the people — delivered in that warm, raspy voice that has become his trademark.

The BAP sound is a brilliant blend of rock and folk influences — you can feel that Niedecken grew up with The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, and Bob Dylan.
