Two kindred spirits have found each other. Two consummate comedians, two passionate musicians, two popular figures, two exceptional performers and, above all, two friends. Thomas Stipsits and Viktor Gernot are finally together on stage with their cabaret programme ‘Lotterbuben’!

Over the past decades, they have impressively proven that they are both soloists and team players who are among the fixed stars of the Austrian entertainment scene. As Lotterbuben, they will portray characters, sing songs, play the guitar and perform parodies with a zest for acting, humour, storytelling and curiosity. And they will take their audience on a journey through the reflections and perceptions of two Austrian cabaret greats.

A look at our world full of irony and satire, between love for humanity and incredulous amazement. And all this with the competence of two seasoned men, representatives of two generations, so to speak. Generation X meets a millennial. The old white man meets the forty-something. An old jazz musician meets the Austropop artist. The childless man meets the father of two.

And there is always the feeling that behind these earnestly serious and undoubtedly credible protagonists are two seasoned rogues. Rarely malicious and always with a wink, these rascals, these grätz'n, these rogues play and sing their way through their first joint programme. Enjoy!
