With their fifth studio album, "Sterben in Karl-Marx-Stadt" (release date: November 28, 2025), Kraftklub embarked on a tour of the same name through Germany, Austria, Luxembourg, and Switzerland in 2026.

What was initially interpreted as a mysterious art project turned out to be a large-scale campaign by the Chemnitz band Kraftklub: On a Monday in late May, a huge sign bearing the words "Die in Karl-Marx-Stadt" appeared in the Saxon city, initially puzzling. The countdown on the sign was running toward Wednesday evening, 9:15 p.m. – and then it happened: The band gave a spontaneous concert, opening with their brand-new single "Schief in jeden Chor" (Wrong in Every Choir). They also announced their fifth studio album, "Die in Karl-Marx-Stadt," for release on November 28, 2025, as well as the tour of the same name for 2026.
