The Morning Exercise offers an authentic insight into the training of our riders and their Lipizzaners.

Experience the horses’ daily work in the imperial setting of the baroque Winter Riding School, accompanied by classical Viennese music – from the careful schooling of our often still dark young stallions to the refinement of exercises with our fully trained “white stars.”

You’ll see loosening and gymnasticating exercises, the development of suppleness, and muscle strengthening – all tailored to each horse’s level of training and condition on the day. The famous school jumps are rarely shown during the Morning Exercise to keep a balanced training schedule for our stallions.

Please note the entrance information on the ticket.

Important information

Children from 3 to 6 years are admitted free of charge but must be seated on an adult’s lap
(“Lap Child”).

Children from 6 to 12 years are admitted at a
reduced rate.

Children under 3 years are not admitted.
