Cat Power

Cat Power's real name is Charlyn Marie Marshall. The stage name by which the US singer-songwriter is now known was initially the name of her first band. Cat Power is now travelling solo – and is extremely successful.

Singer-songwriter with soul
With her melancholy voice and her emotional, introspective songs, Cat Power has characterised the indie and alternative scene since the 1990s. Her music combines folk, blues, soul and rock. Albums such as »Moon Pix« (1998) and »The Greatest« (2006) are considered milestones in her unmistakable, minimalist style.

Return to the Wiener Konzerthaus
She made her debut at the Wiener Konzerthaus in July 2024 –, where she gave a brilliant performance of songs that Bob Dylan presented on his legendary »Royal Albert Hall Concert«-tour in 1966. Now we are looking forward to a return of the indie star on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of her legendary album »The Greatest«.
