For fifteen years now, Sebastian Radon and Verena Doublier have been enthusiastically composing, singing, and writing lyrics as a duo, exploring their everyday lives. In 2027, Wiener Blond, with a new album in tow, will be touring Austria and Germany with a band for the first time since 2022.

On their latest album, they lyrically bridge the gap between the seemingly mundane and the big questions of our time. They humorously outline the challenges of the digital age, offering a variety of hopeful perspectives and potential survival strategies – all musically packaged in a unique style of urban pop music, drawing on the diverse influences of big-city life itself.

Following the great success of their collaboration with the Original Wiener Salonensemble, a new full-length album will be released in 2027, leaving behind string arrangements and coffeehouse coziness and celebrating the pure joy of groove and two-part harmonies. The duo is musically accompanied on stage by Raphaela Fries on drums and Marc Bruckner on bass. The four-piece band provides a brilliantly danceable musical backdrop for the songs, which, as always, center on the lyrics and melodies penned by Wiener Blond.
