Four guys. Four microphones. Christmas.

They've done it again: MAYBEBOP is presenting their fifth Christmas show with Schöner Schein. And it's amazing what new things the four of them can bring to the festival of festivals and how fresh and fresh it still functions on stage after over 20 years as a band!

With Schöner Schein, in addition to newly interpreted classics such as Carol of the Bells, Die Nacht ist vorgedoren and the lively Heidschi Bumbeidschi, many of our own German songs open up new views of the Holy Night: The tragicomic tango The Death of Santa Claus and the touching What I Owned deal with the belief in the man with a beard in very different ways, the energetic folk rock The Ballad of Fanta-Klaus tells of a surprising encounter with The pointed Christmas reveries look behind the facade of some Christmas idylls and the periwinkle sung from the perspective of a fir tree is recommended as a compulsory piece in every standard dance course. The undisputed highlight is clearly the German rap parody KNG of LightZ, in which it is made clear who has the hut with the highest bling-bling factor: brilliantly funny and stylistically to the point.

The vocal band once again underlines its exceptional status: the Christmas program Schöner Schein is bursting with ideas, is both virtuosic and down-to-earth and surprises live, with the usual stylish style with a sophisticated light and sound show, complemented by a smart and charming video performance.
