MAX MUTZKE ANNOUNCES MAJOR GERMANY TOUR

    FOR AUTUMN 2026

(Hamburg, October 20, 2025) Following the successful anniversary tour in 2024, Max Mutzke will once again tour Germany with his band in 2026, playing thirteen concerts as part of his live tour, including one in Austria.

His fans can look forward to hits from the past 22 years as well as new songs. The impressive career of singer-songwriter Max Mutzke began in 2004 with the number 1 hit "Can't Wait Until Tonight," with which he finished 8th at the Eurovision Song Contest. Since then, the artist with the instantly recognizable, soulful voice has delighted his fans with diverse musical facets. Whether pop, rock, soul, funk, or jazz – Max Mutzke masters every genre.

Max Mutzke has released eight studio albums and two live albums to date. His latest album, "XX," was released on October 11, 2024—the twentieth year of his impressive career. It showcases all facets of the artist and, unlike his previous albums, is not exclusively in German: His song "Forever Strong," with which he once again participated in the Eurovision Song Contest pre-selection in February 2024, is included, as is "California Spider," released on August 9, 2024.

Besides his distinctive voice, Max Mutzke captivates his audience above all with his versatility. The singer has already demonstrated his talent through collaborations with various artists: For years, Max Mutzke has performed with jazz greats such as Klaus Doldinger, Wolfgang Haffner, Bill Evans, Till Brönner, Nils Wülker, the Matti Klein Band, Marialy Pacheco, and many more, as well as with some of the largest and most successful big bands, including the SWR Big Band, the WDR Radio Orchestra, the German Armed Forces Big Band, and classical orchestras such as the NDR Radio Philharmonic, the Babelsberg Film Orchestra, and the Takeover Ensemble string quintet.

He also continues to enjoy success on television: In 2019, Max Mutzke, dressed as an astronaut, won the first season of the TV show "The Masked Singer," and in early 2021, his first own TV format, "Lebenslieder" (Songs of Life), premiered on ARD, with a second season airing in April 2022. Max Mutzke reflects on his extraordinary life, with its highs and lows, in his book "So viel mehr. Meine Geschichte" (So Much More: My Story), published on October 9, 2024. In it, he recounts his childhood in the Black Forest with five siblings, the hardships he faced, and his path into show business. Alongside his numerous projects, social engagement is a particular passion of his: Max Mutzke is an active supporter of the German Children's Association in Essen with its campaign against child abuse, has assumed patronage of NACOA (an advocacy group for children in Germany who suffer from their parents' alcohol or drug addiction) at the Waldshut Women's and Children's Shelter, and is an ambassador for the aid organization Misereor.
