Martin Frank – “Greetings from Allegro South”

Are you longing for a short break from the madness of the world? Then come to Allegro South for a two-hour comedy evening. Don't know where that is?

Neither does Martin. But the 33-year-old comedian has everything the name “Allegro South” promises: authentic gags, a captivating pace, enjoyable music, and an incomparable Bavarian charm. While elsewhere the big talkers push themselves to the front rows and drive the world crazy with their hate-filled rants, in Allegro South, they value the down-to-earth second fiddle.

In his fifth solo show, Martin Frank, in his unmistakable style, gets everything off his chest that's currently on his mind. Never heard of this comedian? Then you should ask your grandma right away! Or let yourself be surprised and trust what 123jackydaniel789 writes on YouTube: “Super funny, but the singing is annoying!” So book your tickets, see for yourself, and send "Greetings from Allegro South" out into the world.

    Who is Martin Frank?

Martin Frank was born in 1992 on a farm in Hutthurm, Lower Bavaria. After training as a registrar and organist, he completed a three-year acting program at the Zerboni Acting School in Munich. Starting in May 2026, he will be touring the German-speaking world with his fifth solo show, "Greetings from Allegro South." Martin Frank is a comedian, a Spiegel bestseller author ("Grandma, I'll Bring the Wheelchair Out," "The Last One Turns Off the Lights"), and the host of the late-night show "Frank on Friday" on Bavarian Television (BR).
