Julian le Play - Weihnachtsshow (unplugged) Globe Vienna - Marx Hall - Wien Mon 14.Dec 2026 19:30 replace me !Search, find, let go: Austrian pop artist Julian le Play presents his first unplugged album on October 24th, showcasing the most personal facet of his music to date – and taking listeners on a rollercoaster of powerful emotions.
What do life – and the stage – have to offer when you focus on what truly matters? For Julian le Play, it's lyrical texts, a mini-orchestra, and three recurring themes: Searching. Finding. Letting go. This is also the core of his new album, "le Play unplugged," released on October 24th: an intimate project that brings familiar hits and new songs by the multi-award-winning Austrian pop musician to life in stripped-down arrangements. Accompanied by the sounds of a small orchestra, Julian le Play, with his distinctive voice, brings the essence of his art to the forefront: vibrant rhythms and poetic vocals. The result is an album full of melancholy for what has been – and even more fervent anticipation for everything that is yet to come.
“These shows, from which the album originated, aren’t ordinary concerts,” le Play is convinced, “it’s much more like a little journey in three acts. Through my songs, I take people into the three great chapters of life: searching, finding, and letting go.” With “le Play unplugged,” the pop artist invites listeners to ask themselves: What am I looking for right now? Or have I already found something or someone? Perhaps I also had to let go—and am now free for something new? Dramaturgically structured into the three major chapters—searching, finding, letting go—the album offers an incentive to embrace life in all its facets.
“People come to these theaters with their own life stories. They themselves are seekers, finders, or letting go. Perhaps they have to say goodbye to someone, have found new happiness, or are searching; for themselves, a home, a love,” Julian le Play summarizes his unplugged concerts. He also shared intimate insights and anecdotes about his songs on stage for the first time. "This creates a connection with the audience that I've never experienced in 15 years on stage." From this magical atmosphere emerged an album that is far more than a classic unplugged project. Rather, Julian Le Play presents an amplifier for the inner voice – his own and that of the audience.
