Das teatro-Weihnachtsmusical - Die Weihnachtsgeschichte Globe Vienna - Marx Hall - Wien Sun 14.Dec 2025 13:30 replace me !Dear people of all ages, pay attention! The most magical time of the year is upon us again, and the wonderful teatro Christmas production "A Christmas Carol" is now coming to the GLOBE VIENNA.
Let yourself and your family be captivated by this unique musical adaptation of Charles Dickens's novella and experience a thrilling production, newly revised this year, that breathes life into the embittered Ebenezer Scrooge and many familiar characters from the Christmas classic. The whirling dancing spirits, the poor, warm-hearted family of Laureen, Mister Scrooge's cheerful niece and employee, and the infamous Ghosts of Three Christmases all whisk you away to a magical world where a life almost lived, full of grief, is reinvented to make room for love, joy, and gratitude.
20 exceptionally talented professionals, including young people and children (most from our own talent pool) as well as adult stage actors like the full-blooded musical actor Peter Faerber, will surprise, enchant, and captivate audiences on stage. As always, artistic director Norberto Bertassi guarantees to do everything he can to make the audience's hearts beat faster. This year, there will also be fantastic costumes by the gifted costume designer Brigitte Huber, great-granddaughter of Gustav Klimt.
teatro is also increasingly making a name for itself as a talent factory. Most recently, teatro is delighted that a long-time teatro member, Moritz Mausser from Baden, has earned the honor of playing a leading role for the first time at the Vereinigte Bühnen, playing Falco in the musical "Rock Me Amadeus."
This year, the adult Scrooge will be played by the promising theater actor Nicolas Vinzenz. Following Moritz Mausser, he is the next exceptional theater actor to have studied at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts for a year, hoping to launch a major career. David Mannhart will remain in the Christmas story as the Ghost of a Present Christmas, a role he has skillfully brought to life in recent years. He became particularly well-known in 2021 as a finalist on the successful ORF show Starmania.
Recommended for ages 6 and up.
