"Dreams come and go and stay, like waves on the sea. Sometimes they become reality, but believing in it is often difficult." Hardly any line describes the career of singer-songwriter Gregor Meyle better than these opening words to his song "Why Dreaming Is Worth It" from his seventh studio album, "INDIVIDUALITY."
Many people know Gregor Meyle from numerous TV shows such as "Sing meinen Song – das Tauschkonzert," "Meylensteine," and currently "Your Songs," for which even big-name show stars like Robbie Williams traveled to sit between Meyle and Jeanette Biedermann on the ARD couch. TV viewers adore the songwriter with his hat, glasses, and guitar. But anyone who hasn't yet experienced a Gregor Meyle concert should do so as soon as possible in 2025. Because an unplugged Meyle tour is always a live event of a special kind.
An extremely diverse artist, his colorful personality is truly etched on "Individuality."
Together with his Champions League band, he performs for over two hours on stage, delivering powerful emotions and a crossover of numerous musical styles. In addition to his hits like "Keine ist wie du," he brings new songs with him every year. In 2025, these will primarily be tracks from his album "INDIVIDUALITÄT," in which he sings about the balance a traveling musician must and wants to find between touring, songwriting, and time for family. These are challenges that come with being a family man and father, but which also add spice to life. And in the best songwriter style, he naturally tells many stories: unmistakable and authentic – simply Gregor Meyle.
"Individuality" not only offers a cross-section of life in its lyrics, but also individual sound textures that the trained sound and stage technician adds in a playful way. From a large orchestra to exotic kalimba sounds, to soft melodies that will delight acoustic music lovers.
