Mr. Schröder is back! The state-certified German teacher is finally back on tour with his new solo, "The Rest is Homework." The school bell will ring in CITY on DAY, DATE, in HALLE.
Mr. Schröder, the longest-serving young teacher and overhead projector incarnate, will present his new double lesson, "The Rest is Homework." He will illuminate the path to a better future perfect tense and provide us with the teaching skills we all need. Because school today is a group puzzle with 1,000 pieces. Solving it is like squaring the circle.
Look forward to the silver lining when he says: "Get your tablets out, log in, and join in. Even in the back row! And if we don't quite finish: The rest is homework!"

Johannes Schröder, aka Mr. Schröder, is a qualified German teacher and comedian/cabaret artist. What sounds like a contradiction is ultimately a humorous form of self-defense. After twelve years of teaching and a part-time job as a recess supervisor, Johannes Schröder set himself the goal of creating his own comedy and stage project. In 2014, the German teacher moved from Offenburg to Toronto, Canada, where he learned the basics of punchlines in numerous comedy clubs. Returning to his hometown of Berlin, he began writing his first solo show. With his debut, "World of Lehrkraft – Ein Trauma geht in erfüllt," "Mr. Schröder" successfully toured Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

With his second show, "Instagrammatik," Mr. Schröder finally embarked on a successful path: Not only does he fill arenas across Germany, but his crazy, creative, and educational social media reels are steadily growing his fan base, and his shows sell out in no time. Mr. Schröder's embracing humor makes the Cologne resident an Instagram hero, and his large community celebrates his output daily – complete with overhead projector. In June 2024, Mr. Schröder also hosted Europe's largest detention session and celebrated the largest school party with "Instagrammatik" at the Rudolf Weber-ARENA in Oberhausen.
