It's life itself, unvarnished, in the form of Mr. Tulip, Urli, the long-forgotten sister-in-law Iris, a neighbor with a train driver's cap, a huge idea, and a lucky coincidence.
And suddenly we're in the middle of a fast-paced story. Life, after all.
The dolphin on his bike is certainly not there.
