New York-born, Montreal-raised singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright has planned several concerts in Europe for 2026, including performances in the Netherlands, France, Spain, Finland, and at London's Royal Albert Hall. In April, he will make an exclusive stop at the Burgtheater, performing his only Austrian concert on its main stage. Praised by the New York Times for his "genuine originality," Rufus Wainwright has established himself as one of the great singers and songwriters of his generation. The multi-award-winning artist has released ten studio albums, three DVDs, and three live albums. Wainwright has collaborated with artists such as Elton John, Miley Cyrus, David Byrne, Boy George, Joni Mitchell, the Pet Shop Boys, Billy Joel, Paul Simon, Sting, and many others. He has also written two operas and numerous songs for film and television.
