    The Magic Flute by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, with the libretto by Emanuel Schikaneder, is an opera in 2 acts and premiered in Vienna in 1791. At the premiere the "Zauberflöte" was already a great success and in the same year the opera was performed twenty times. The work combines the music styles of opera seria, opera buffa and tragédie lyrique, therefore offering a wide range of sounds.
